It’s universally accepted that no other band exemplifies the DIY attitude – their ‘hillbilly Pink Floyd’ sound, albums, memorable concerts, bootlegs, videos, hell, they even have their own coffee – like The Grand Slambovians, the Hudson Highlands’ champion DIY’ers.
But to be completely candid, that’s old news. The real honest-to-goodness news is what quantum researchers call The Slambovian Vibe: an entirely
distinctive unification of heart and mind; of souls dancing in a familial, tribal, and communal spirit inspired by irreplaceable rock ‘n roll. Global Slambovians wildly applauding, cheering, exhorting the band, and themselves, to greater heights of human kindness.
There really is peace in the world when Joziah tells his tales, Tink takes up her accordion, Eric conjures Keith Moon, and Skarkey unveils yet another anthemic guitar solo. All the outside noise and turmoil dissipates. Isn’t that what Thanksgiving tradition is all about? Family and peace. So please join us!
