This is Promising to be a Very Special Evening. A long awaited and way overdue show melding the Parker Brothers with the music of one of the areas greatest pocket/groove bands ever,"STUFF"! Brother's Chris and Eric Parker together with "Woodstock Underground Productions" , bring you an evening of Very Special Guests !
Since the late 1960s, the Parker brothers have been playing drums for some
of the brightest stars in the music industry, from James Brown, Lou Reed,
Donald Fagen, Bonnie Raitt, Public Enemy, and Bob Dylan, to Lou Rawls, Joe
Cocker, Todd Rundgren, Orleans, Rick Derringer, Miles Davis, and Steve
Winwood. This night is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the Parker
drumming legacy.
Dad will open the night with his jazz quintet, Jive by Five.
Tony, who has played with Joan Osborne, Rick Danko, and Maria Muldaur, and
many others, will be bringing his band EXIT 19.
Nick, who has played with artists like Rick Derringer, Orleans, and Tod
Rundgren, will be performing with his group, Moolah Ltd.
The night crescendos with Eric and Chris, together with Lincoln Schleifer
(bass), Keith Cotton (piano), Gary Sieger (guitar), and Larry Saltzman
(guitar), performing songs from STUFF.
There will be many other surprise guests sitting in too.
