Originally known as the vocalist for the hardcore punk band Black Flag from 1981 until 1986, Rollins tours the world performing as an engaging public speaker and a solo spoken word artist. Beyond taking the stage as a musician with his own Rollins Band, he has also spent time on behalf of the United Service Organizations to entertain American troops in Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Honduras, and Egypt.

The Grammy winning performer, author, and actor is currently occupying his time filming a series of documentary specials for the IFC network, introducing listeners to hidden gems on his weekly radio show, and running his publishing company 2-13-61. Rollins has performed in several movies and TV shows including Bad Boys II, Heat, and Drew Carey
