has shared the stage with members of The Black Crowes, The Levon Helm Band, Gov't Mule, Rose Hill Drive, Hill Country Revue, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, and many others. The band has toured the east from Maine to Alabama, rocking such venues as The Norva in Virginia, NYC's B.B. King's, Austin's SXSW and Woodstock's Bearsville Theatre.

Producer John Siket (Sonic Youth, Dave Matthews, Phish) recorded and engineered LJ's May 2009 release, "The Loho Sessions", as well as much of their debut, "Revolution's Son".  Along with releases from My Morning Jacket and The Black Keys, "Revolution's Son" was chosen by Earvolution as one of 2008's most memorable.

NY based group The Five Points Band take their name and inspiration from the Five Points neighborhood in NYC where the band was formed in 1997. Their music is texture and insight into a world not always filled with happy endings, where outlaws can be heroes, where oddities are welcomed and monsters are appreciated.

The members of the Five Points Band are a family;
Robin the Hammer (patriarch)-guitar, vocals
Miss Acacia (daughter of Robin)-bass, vocals
JBird Bowman (husband to Miss Acacia)-drums, vocals

The Five Points Band's sound is dirty Rock with spooky Americana undertones and has been called 'Heavy Gothic Americana'.

The band has played the NY scene, toured the American south, and played several European festivals including repeat appearances at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, the Lillehammer Blues Festival, and the Romerike Rock & Roots Festival. They have also toured with Shannon McNally.

The Five Points Band's new album, 'Ida the Spider and the American Dream is chock full of things that go bump in the night.
