PROFESSOR LOUIE & THE CROMATIX a Woodstock quintet originally was formed by (Aaron Louis Hurwitz), aka Professor Louie for his co-production’s for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall Of Fame group, The Band. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix went on to become the studio backing band for CD’s by Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Levon Helm,. They offer the most impressive credentials, the deepest hearts, and a genuine love of performing live. Their CD Whispering Pines, received no fewer than five Grammy nominations in 2010. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix play 150 shows a year. In 2011 they were inducted into The Southern Canadian Blues Hall Of Fame.
