Two generations of jam-bands once again share a stage as Radio Woodstock 100.1 WDST presents Max Creek With Special Guests The McLovins. They will be playing live at the historic Bearsville Theater in Woodstock NY on May 14th.

Max Creek (www.MaxCreek.com) is a perennial concert favorite around the northeast, having cultivated a rabid fan base through 39 years of continuous recording and touring. Bassist John Rider, keyboardist Mark Mercier and guitarist Scott Murawski form the nucleous of this classic combo. The band also features a two-drum attack from Scott Allshouse and Greg Vasso, and their marathon performances are the stuff of legends. Max Creek will also be celebrating their 39th Anniversary on April 24th.
The McLovins (www.TheMcLovins.com), on the other hand, are new to the game, arriving equipped with a rock solid music foundation, this progressive-jam trio are all multi-instrumentalists who write and perform their own material as well as a myriad of cross-genre covers. Unlike many of their contemporaries, they draw the majority of their influences from Jazz, Funk and Rock sources, creating a musical mélange uniquely their own.
