"Reelin In The Years" - The Music of Steely Dan

"Reelin In The Years"
The Music of Steely Dan

Coming off the smash success at Bearsville of a night of Beatles music, Scott Pettito and Jerry Marotta are once again putting their musical heads together by setting their sights on the music of Steely Dan. For those of you who've been residing on Pluto the last 35 years, some of the songs Steely Dan are most known for are  'Ricky Don't Lose That Number', 'My Old School' , 'I'm A Fool To Do Your Dirty Work', 'Do It Again', 'Peg', 'Black Cow', 'Don't Take Me Alive', and many, many others.

Steely Dan was formed in the early 70's by Walter Becker and Donald Fagan (Fagan is a Woodstock resident who has participated in numerous benefit concerts at the Bearsville Theatre.) Their sound painted the sonic landscape of the 70's and 80's and continues to influence generations of musicians.
