Dweezil Zappa has been playing guitar for almost 30 years. He has released five solo records since 1982, as well as two records with Zappa Plays Zappa, and has made several guest appearances on other records. In 2006, Dweezil organized Zappa Plays Zappa to help bring the music of his father, the legendary Frank Zappa, to a younger audience. In February 2009, Zappa Plays Zappa won the Grammy award for best rock instrumental performance - for their performance of the Frank Zappa instrumental classic, "Peaches en Regalia."
This show is in conjunction with DWEEZILLA Music Boot Camp… DWEEZILLA III will be held at Full Moon Resort as part of the Music Masters Camps from Monday July 2nd through Friday July 6th
This year is a revised more family-friendly camp format over the July 4th holiday with a special program including a fireworks display with July 4th celebrations and, of course, the epic Zappa Plays Zappa show in Woodstock, NY on Thursday, July 5th.
